Problem in opera while sending HTML as part of the response
I am sending some html fragments to the client as part of the xml response. I am parsing the xml and reading the data in the xml and passing as value for a "DIV"'s innerHTML.

This works fine for IE and Firefox. But this doesnt work for Opera. I think there is some problem in getAttribute('id','') in childNodes.(It returns null if u send a html) It works in opera only if i send a simple text without html tags in it. But if i add a tag it fails.

Any light on this??

Re: Problem in opera while sending HTML as part of the response
Just wanted to post that I haven't looked into this yet, but will soon.  In the meantime you should be able to do some sort of escaping of the html to get around it.

Re: Problem in opera while sending HTML as part of the response
I tried escaping the html but still the same. I tried with a very simple <b>test</b> test html sending for the response.

Re: Problem in opera while sending HTML as part of the response

Maybe I am not understanding your problem correctly because it appears to work for me.  Here is what I did so we are on the same page.  I decided to simply use the HelloAJAX DNNModule example I made.  I placed it on a page and opened it in Opera.  I then typed in some HTML in the textbox  (<b>test</b>) and clicked the button.  I get a messagebox containing the text I typed with no problems.

Is this not working for you?  What version of Opera?
