Correct DNNTree CSS

When we add new child node from time to time Last Parent node lose its CSS and hangs do not visualising content in connected to the DNNTree module. You can test it using standard admin username/password

Re: Correct DNNTree CSS
I am not sure I understand your problem.  I went to the site and logged in.  the tree seems to render fine.  I added a child location and the tree still rendered fine, though the site is very slow and it took some time to grab all the images.

DNNTree bug - CSS

Hi,

this is a known (and annoying) issue of the DNNTree and the bug is also easy to recreate if you create folders in the standard DNN FileManager. (Even if we like the DNNTree, this bug stops widespread use of the Tree).

The bug is also easy to reproduce at the website in question:

  1. Create a mother location Loc1 – as a mother node
  2. Create then Loc11 as a child node of Loc1 and then select this Loc11
  3. Create then Child locations Loc111 and Loc113 from Loc11
  4. Add then child location Loc112 (for Loc11)
  5. Bug:
  6. The Loc112 then sorts last in tree and receives a bigger font
  7. When clicking at Loc112, the Loc 111 is shown in detail view

The tree is not reacting on any clicks on the Loc112

We have not had the chance to look further into it, but any comments is most welcome for us as well.

Best Regards,

Swan B

Re: DNNTree bug - CSS

I am not familiar with this module.  Where can I obtain a copy from in order to reproduce locally?

You said you can reproduce something similar in the filemanager.  Could you detail out the steps for it?

Re: DNNTree bug - CSS

Easy

If you please start the standard file manager of a plain DNN 3.2.2 installation.
Click the Host Root folder and then add sub and "subsub" folders as described in previous post(I changed the prefix from Loc to Host when creating the folders, but I don't think that matter, I also had to create four child nodes at level tree before the "bug hit")

The bug typically hits when you to example have a child node at level tree that "sorts" last in the DNN Tree.

Please do a post if you have any trouble in recreating the error(within 60 seconds)

Best regards,

Swan B.
