Is DNN likely to support ATLAS controls in the future?

I asked this question in the main DNN forums, but have not had an answer from anyone in the core team, so here might be a better place.  It is obvious that Microsoft are putting an immense effort into ATLAS and there are going to be lots of goodies in the way of controls (there are already!).  It looks as if DNN cannot currently support ATLAS (something to do with information being added to the page at a late stage?) but I wonder if anyone has looked at whether this is likely to be a temporary restriction?

Funny you should ask this question. For I plan on posting a blog dealing with this very subject (hopefully today).  I am not saying that I have all the answers, just some insight into our decisions.

Re: Is DNN likely to support ATLAS controls in the future?

Thank you, Jon, I think a lot of DNNers will be very interested.  The Microsoft Atlas bandwagon seems to be well and truly rolling now, and as it is obvious that the DNN core team have good relations with MS, it would be great if the Atlas team could be persuaded to bear DNN in mind when developing their goodies.  I do not know whether DNN can bend the page-cycle, or whether it is solely upto MS to tweak?
