unable to get project from web server

Hello!... I hope to have place the question in the correct forum...

Visual Studio .NET 2003 visualizes this error: "unable to get project from web server".

From what it is caused?

How I can resolve it?

Thanks!

Re: unable to get project from web server
I have resolved the problem!
I have executed the following steps:
- Uninstalling IIS.
- Reinstalling IIS.
- Uninstalling Net Framework 1.1.
- Reinstalling Net Framework 1.1.
- Deleting the content of the following path:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\VSWebCache
This path contains the some directories used by Visual Studio .NET in order to load the project from the Web server.
These directories will newly be created after the opening of a DotNetNuke solution.

Re: unable to get project from web server

Here's what I did:

1.  Create a new website and set it up to point to the project
2.  Modify WEBINFO file to point to this new website
3.  Modified my HOSTS file  in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
4.  Opened the project using "Open Project  from WEb ... " ... self-explanatory questions from VS ... blah blah
5.  That's it.

Here's the trick though which might be the only thing you will need to do:  Modify WEBINFO file to point to your new website. (Try deleting the file altogether after backing it up.  I bet that will work for you)
