Site Logging

Site logging does not work on my install of 3.1.1.

I get an error along the lines og "Site Logging for this portal has not been enabled by the hosting company"

I have set logging history days to 60 but I cannot get it to work

Please help with waht I need to do.

Re: Site Logging

General questions like this should be posted to asp.net, you would probably get an answer faster in most cases as people who can help w/ that error generally wouldn't be in this client API one.

I am probably not the best to answer this question as I have never had a problem w/ it.  MY settings are always the default of 1 for site log buffer and 0 days for site log (which is unlimited).  I also keep the default of database for its storage.  What I would do is check your scheduler to see if the site log tasks are running.  Another thing migh be some changes you made to the web.config, double check these and use defaults if possible until pinpointing your problem.

Re: Site Logging

Hi All

Got it working OK - there are 2 place to set - 1 in host and 1 in the portal.

But it appears  -1 is the setting for unlimited after looking at the source. is the correct?

Regrads
