language editor shows localized value for default value

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

In DNN 4.8.1, when logged in as host and using the Language Editor, if I select a language other than English, it displays in the Default Value column the same entries as in the Localized Value column.  In other words, if I select Spanish (es-es), it shows Spanish in both columns instead of showing English in the Default Value and Spanish in the Localized Value.

If I do a Restart Application under Host Settings, and log out then log back in again, the problem goes away.  But it returns again if I log back in after a day or two.

Re: language editor shows localized value for default value

this sounds like a caching issue, what are your performance settings in Host Settings menu item?
