multi-lingual site 

I'm hoping that someone can help me.  I need to create a multi-lingual site in DNN 3.3.7.  I know that the skin has to have a language object.  My client would like an automated translation (for lack of resources of keeping up with more than 1 content).  I have been researching alternatives since DNN doesn't translate any dynamic content.  From what I have found, Google Language translator tool seems to be the best option.  My dilemna is that when I use the tool, the navigation menu just disappears.  At first I thought that well it must not work with DNN, but I have tested this site on the tool and it works fine. 

What would be causing this? 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
