Problems with Swedish characters åäö

Hi

I have problems getting the Swedish characters åäö to stay put in the module titels.

I can write them but after updating the site they seem to disappear.

I should also say that i have no problem with the characters in ohter places of the portals. Just here.

I have a Swedish language pack but its is for DNN 3.0.13 and i have DNN 4.0.2. Is this causing the problem?

Grateful for any kind of help.

Re: Problems with Swedish characters åäö

I have the same problem. Solved it temporarily by using Dreamweaver where I wrote the title, and the cut the text from the code. This makes a headline like:

"Det är svårt att övertyga" transform to "Det är svårt att övertyga"

This is of course no ideal solution but at least it looks better than without those letters...

Re: Problems with Swedish characters åäö

Thanks!

I tried it, but

It seems to work fine with one character but with two, it gets a bit tricky.

Try to write "åsögatan" "äs&oulm;gatan" and then update the page. You will end upp with "sögatan"

But if you write "ösögatan" and then update it will say "ösögatn" It seems that the module only can take just one special character.

Re: Problems with Swedish characters åäö
The problem is there. I am using 4.02 and Swedish characters will disappear when used in the Module Titles as stated above. I have installed the Swedish Language Pack (which should anyway not have any effect on this problem I figure). Looks like a bug to me.
