Problems with adding a language pack

Hy,

I'm new with DotNetNuke... but I've the site up and running. Only I want to make some changes to the site, like adding a language pack. when I'm logged on as Host, and I go in the menu Host to languages, then I get the following error.

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format at System.String.format(IformatProvider provider, String format, Object[] args) at DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(PortalModuleBase ctrlModule, Exception exc) at DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.Languages.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Also when I want to update something I get the error:

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format

Does somebody know a solution for this?
You can reach the site by following this link: www.ritss.nl/dotnetnuke

Thanks.
Ruud

Re: Problems with adding a language pack

Just a couple of questions to begin with:

* what version DNN?

* do you get the error when you navigate to the page host > languages, or when you actually try to upload a language pack?

i tried to view your site, but it't either on an extremely slow machine, or it is not responding at all...

Cheers,

Erik

Re: Problems with adding a language pack

Hi Erik,

This is the information I can give you;

DNN version: 4.0.2
Data Provider: SqlDataProvider
.NET Framework: 2.0.50727.42

Some machine info:
Processor: PIII 1Ghz
Ram: 512MB
HDD: 3 x 36,4 Gb 10K RPM
Adaptec: 39160 SCSI controler
Windows 2003 Ent.
Sql server2005 Ent.
IIS 6.0

ADSL:
Down: 4096Kb
Up: 960KB.

I know that it takes a while before you'll see the site, but it works. I know that for sure, because I can reach it for my office. So please be patient.

I get the (big) error when I click the menu languages in the host menu.

And I get the; Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format when I e.g. change the password of an user.

Regards,

Ruud
