If you are logged on as Host, go to the Host menu and select "Languages". On the page you will see next, select "Upload Language Pack" from the action menu. NB: depending on the skin you selected as host skin, you might not have an action menu at all. If your host or admin skin is not DNN-Blue, you might need to switch to that skin to be able to see all available module actions.

When you are logged on as host go to Host > Host Settings. Under the heading "Site Configuration" you will see the version of DotNetNuke that is installed

Re: How can I install the Language PAcks?

Sorry if my question is dully, I am new to DNN.

> Now you have to find the file you saved in you disk previously and add the file to the server using the provided control

I have downloaded a .zip file which contains several folders for each module. Shall I point to the .zip file and upload it? or rather to each folder and upload them one for one?

Actually my hosting provider offers support and installation of DNN, and I don't plan a local installation of it. Is it possible to install the LP directly on the production server?

Many thanks for your answer in advance.

Re: How can I install the Language PAcks?

Ariane,

what you have to do, depends on the access, your host granted to you.

If you are allowed to login as host, do so and go to host menu, item languages, if not, go to admin menu, item languages.

choose install language pack, select the zip file you have downloaded previously and add it to the upload list. choose upload, and the complete package gets installed.

Afterwards, if desired goto portal settings and set default language.

if desired, go to your profile and set your personal default language.
