Spanish language pack installation problem

I have tried to install the spanish language pack and all seems to work correctly but althought i have the default language to spanish i couldn't see any change.

The language pack has many files (compressed). What is the file referred when saying upload the file?.

Thanks in advance

Re: Spanish language pack installation problem

If you are logged in, the displayed language is taken from your user settings. If you are not logged in, it depends on the DNN version: DNN 3.0.x and 3.1.0 use the language from the portal settings, DNN 3.1.1 tries first the language stored in a cookie or from the URL, than looks for the default language from the browser settings and only if both fails uses portal settings.

Re: Spanish language pack installation problem

I addressed this issue of DNN 3.1.1 in my GR-Language skin object, so you can try it if you need a quick solution. It also will give you a possibility to disable English language for users of a portal if you need this, but will keep this option enabled for the admins.
