“Highlight Pending Translations” problems in Edit Language

When Highlight Pending Translations is checked non translated entries are supposed to be marked with a red square.

But in those cases where the localized phrases and the core language (English) happens to be exactly or near to exactly the same, the red square appears, even though I write in the phrases manually.

I can't find any solution to get around this annoying problem.

Re: “Highlight Pending Translations” problems in Edit Language
Tomas, there's no solution to this issue, since it just does a string comparison using the default text and the translated one. If they're equal the red border appears. It's always been that way and I don't see any way of changing it. Is it that of a big problem?
