First cheers for the new language selector!!!

why not add options to the modules and page properties just like language selector?

and we can use it for pages and tabs and modules' localization.

or develop a core module (or core options) for all the names, that we want to localize.

just suggestions

Re: why not add options to the modules and page properties just like language selector?

Houby, thanks for participating in this forums. All feedback is welcome.

That said, this is not a simple question. In fact this needs to be part of a bigger approach that will (should) provide content localization (in abstract) for all DNN core and 3rd party modules.

This is a task we have not yet started but I hope to get it scheduled for a future version (not so long in the future I hope...).

Re: why not add options to the modules and page properties just like language selector?

Hi,

i had a strange problem with language setting on the portal: my website uses Vietnamese as default language. I have set Vietnamese as default language on Site Settings menu. However Vietnamese seems not appear to guest users. This doesn't happen to logged on users.
