Re: Help module will not install
The Help module was built against 3.3.5 which is the same WebControls as 4.3.5.  You should eithr upgrade or you could try using the new webcontrols.dll.  I havent tried that and dont guarantee it but I have recently been using an even later version of web controls in an older DNN and that worked ok.

Re: Help module will not install

Hello

I Want to offer another solution to this problem for developers that have access to their site's DB, (a solution that I found thanks to a college of mine).

I work on dnn 4.0.2 using mssql 2005 express edition and I encountered exactly the same problem while installing the help module on my web site.

I opened the DB editor and created the problematic store procedure above (dbo.Help_SearchTutorials ), however in the WHERE clause of the SP I wrote:

WHERE (dbo.Help_Tutorials.Title LIKE N'%' + @Search + '%') OR (dbo.Help_Tutorials.KeyWords LIKE N'%' + @Search + '%') OR (dbo.Help_Tutorials.ShortDesc LIKE N'%' + @Search + '%') OR (dbo.Help_Tutorials.Description LIKE N'%' + @Search + '%')

and then the SP was created successfully.

hope its helpfull.

Hello

I work on DNN 4.0.2 and I encountered the exact same problem while trying to build my web site after installing the help module.

Could you please specify the way to overcome this problem.

Re: Help module will not install

Clarification

I entered above two different replies.

The first (about the solution in the SP from 12/6/2006 5:12:23 AM) refers to the post from 10/12/2006 9:24:35 AM in the previous page.

The second (about problems I encounter in build after help module installation from 12/6/2006 5:22:18 AM) refers to the answer about DotNetNuke.Modules.Help.NavPane.DNNTree1 from 10/18/2006 12:16:58 AM on this page.
