Re: Intranet login problem for the first time

Hello Mike

you have been very kind enough to me, on giving solution to my doubts and questions, i will try to install that .04 beta of the AD provider in my site check whether i am able to login or not, i visited the link u have provided me (http://dnn.gmss.org) , in this link i clciked the tab AD provider betas, i was able to see three download sections namely 1.AD Provider 01.00.04 Beta Install, 2.AD Provider 01.00.04 Beta Source, and the last 3.Website Authentication Testing File....

should i download the 01.00.04 beta install or the 01.00.04 beta source... ok after downloading the correct zip file, how do i upload the new dowloaded zip into the site..can u please guide me...

and now i have another issue... can i be able to take user names form two ACTIVE DIRECTORY, as of now i am taking the user name form one active directory that too with the above mentioned problem,.... if u got my second issue clearly too, u can kindly suggest me what should i do to rectify those problems....awating your reply..

thank you

Re: Intranet login problem for the first time

The documentation for the provider can be found on this page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/ProviderAuthentication/Downloads/tabid/852/Default.aspx). Use the .03 version as it's pretty much the same as for the .04 version.

Unless you want to work with the actual source code you only need the install version.

As for pulling information from two active directories. Do you mean they are two totally different domains? Is there a trust relationship setup between the domains? I don't have a multi-domain setup that I can test against so I'm not sure how much help I'll be able to give you.
