Custom Authentication Provider 

Good day fellow DotNetNuke'ers.

Please can someone assist me with the following:

I've started creating my own custom Authentication provdiers, and I authenticate agains my system perfectly.

Now I'm at the stage where I need to pass the authentication, or "permit" the authentication within DotNetNuke, but I'm feeling a little lost.

My next stage will be to syncronise my security roles with each user that loggs in.

Help with either of the above will be greatly appreciated,
