Problem with AD

I have 4.3.7 DNN app.I did all the steps for activate AD and i got in Windows Authentication the 3 OK

Accessing Global Catalog:
OK
Checking Root Domain:
OK
Accessing LDAP:
OK
Find all domains in network:
1 Domain(s):
ofir.co.il (ofir)

But I can't get in!

when i login the app say "Invalid Password" although the password is correct!

I debug admin/Security/Signin.ascx.vb and i found an interesting thing:

1.inside cmdLogin_Click function

return Nothing

2.inside WindowsAuthorization function

Dim

objUser As UserInfo = UserController.GetUserByName(PortalSettings.PortalId, txtUsername.Text, False)

Return Good objUser but on the Membership part he  the return password is Nothing

3.inside WindowsAuthorization function

Dim

Return Good objUser And on the Membership part he  the return password is Good

So i believe that understand this behavior whould solve my problem

Any ideas?

objAuthUser As DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.UserInfo = objAuthentication.ProcessformAuthentication(txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text)
Dim
objUser As UserInfo = UserController.ValidateUser(PortalId, txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text, txtVerification.Text, PortalSettings.PortalName, ipAddress, loginStatus)

Re: Problem with AD
Just to make sure, you are logging in using the Domain\Username format correct?

Re: Problem with AD
Hmmm, I'll sit down with the code if I get a chance tomorrow (left my laptop at work today) and see what I can see. I'm pretty sure the password is returned in our environment but I'll step through the code just to be sure.

Re: Problem with AD

thanks a lot...

My 3th part of the first post is distorted so this is how it should be:

3.inside WindowsAuthorization function

Dim

Return Good objUser And on the Membership part he  the return password is Good

So i believe that understand this behavior whould solve my problem

Any ideas?

objAuthUser As DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.UserInfo = objAuthentication.ProcessformAuthentication(txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text)Dim objUser As UserInfo = UserController.ValidateUser(PortalId, txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text, txtVerification.Text, PortalSettings.PortalName, ipAddress, loginStatus)
