Roberta, would you post a Gemini bug about the last login date so that I get a reminder to check/fix that. It really should update that field even on an automatic login.

I betting that your domain controllers are running Windows 2000 which is what is causing this bug. I need to tweak the code and release another beta but work and family have kept me tied up the last couple of weeks so I haven't had a chance to fix it. I'm going to try to get to it over the next week.

Our Domain-Controller works with W2K3R2 (any with SP2) and W2K3 AD Mode, but my Webserver is W2K3R2 SP2 with IIS in IIS5 Mode (!). Can that be the reason for the Bug ?

I have to the sources but not on the resources data looked :-).

Thanks

Running in IIS5 Mode could possibly result in the same problem.

Re: Active Directory 01.00.04 Beta

With regard to AD groups with spaces in their names...after I tested the new beta of the provider, as users logged into the portal any AD groups that they were once a part of they are now being  removed from.  Only the native DNN groups are staying.  I had to turn off role sync to keep this from happenning.  I have a lot of pages that tied to AD roles and I can't afford to have people automatically removed from groups.  (Of course, it would be nice if they were automatically removed if they are taken out of the AD group first!)

The original provider would sync up roles every time just fine.  However, I rolled back to 1.00.03 and roles sync isn't working anymore.  Anything I can do to fix this?

Re: Active Directory 01.00.04 Beta

Timster, is it only happening on groups that have spaces in their names or every group? How did you roll back to .03? I'd have to double check but I don't believe there were any changes in the actual synch procedures between .03 and .04 so it almost sounds as if the groups the user belongs to aren't being pulled from the AD when the code checks against it. Is there a chance you could take a look at LDAPBrowser (http://www.ldapbrowser.com/download.htm) and see if the groups are being pulled in? Or check the eventviewer in the Admin menu and see if there are any odd errors being logged?
