We are looking for a few good men / women to help out as developers on the DotNetNuke Forum / Blog and Gallery open-source subprojects.
The commitment is simple… be a team player, listen and participate in the subproject team meetings, contribute ideas, take direction and feedback gracefully and above all be respectful of other team members and the community.
The requirements:
- You are a sharp developer who understands DotNetNuke (you don’t have to understand everything about the app – it’s gotten very complex over the last year)
- You understand how to develop using the DAL and other DotNetNuke best practices
- You work well with teams.
We will be taking Resumes (yes resumes are the best way for us to get to know you) for these team positions immediately and will be picking members after the first upcoming release of these modules.
We are looking specifically for:
- Blog dev experience – working with blogging APIs / are avid bloggers
- Forum development experience – perhaps you are using our forums already and you have some insight on making this better
- UI specialists – must be a developer who has a good understanding of skinning concepts especially the DotNetNuke skinning engine.
- Gallery experience – someone who is familiar with other popular Gallery features.
- Well rounded developers who are not afraid to dig in and get their hands dirty.
If you are interested in giving back to the community and would like to apply for these team positions please go to http://www.apptheory.com/Default.aspx?tabname=Developers and submit an application.
(You will need to register to get access to this link).
Thanks for the interest!
