Error: "Closed file"?

Hello;

I keep getting this error on installation:

ExceptionSystem.ObjectDisposedException: Cannot access a closed file. at System.IO.__Error.FileNotOpen() at System.IO.FileStream.Seek(Int64 offset, SeekOrigin origin) at System.Web.HttpRawUploadedContent.TempFile.GetBytes(Int32 offset, Int32 length, Byte[] buffer, Int32 bufferOffset) at System.Web.HttpRawUploadedContent.CopyBytes(Int32 offset, Byte[] buffer, Int32 bufferOffset, Int32 length) at System.Web.HttpInputStream.Read(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipInputStream.FillBuf(Int32 size) at ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Zip.ZipInputStream.GetNextEntry() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.ReadZipStream() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

I wasn't going to post, I read all of the FAQ, I worked with the help desk for my host for two weeks and they can't help.

I am mostly a front-end designer but I know enough about it to make the changes I need to make it work.  Any help or idea as to what I am doing?  (I am using the "Gallery_3.0.12_Install.zip")

Re: Error: "Closed file"?

Hi,

The Gallery 3.x Modules are still public beta and it is recomand not used in production instances.  We now that these versions have a lot bug.   Also we have some some problems in this versions with DNN 4.6.x and above about FriendlyURLs.  So we recomand that this is not for use in DNN 4.6.x and higher DNN Versions.

We are still working an a .Net 2.0 based Version that will be the first public release version.  But the release will come first in 2008.

Regards

Matthias

Re: Error: "Closed file"?

Thank you.  I ended up looking for an earlier version of the gallery and it works now.
