A critical error has occurred.- Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Modified By Matthias Schlomann on 9/1/2008 5:03:51 AM)

Hello

When I try to access image gallery I encountered an error as mentioned above in the subject. Subsequently I could not upload or view any of the files. About a month back I was able to access the image gallery both view and upload images. Please find below the configuration details of DNN setup available at my office. Can anyone tell me what could be the cause for this problem and steps to solve it please ?

Configuration

Using DNN 4.8.4

Do you talking about Gallery Version 4.3.0 Beta 2 ?

My guess is that you were using an old version and upgraded to one of the available Betas. Is this correct?

I have been using the same version 03.01.12 of Gallery module. Is there anything to do with the access rights in a certain folder ?

Today I tried posting a file into the forum module and I got the same error.

If you work with a Gallery 3.x version you should disable the friendlyUrls in the Host settings.
