Feedback on TTT Gallery

We installed the TTT Gallery about two years ago on a client DNN 1.0.10 site because it was the best gallery around. It has served well, but from Day 1 the client objected to two things about it. I thought I'd mention those here in the hope that their (and my) desires for the gallery will be taken into consideration.

- They wanted to be able to disable the "camera icon" and slideshow. They didn't want it there because they felt it would confuse their viewers. I concur at least in the opinion that it should be an option, not mandatory. We shouldn't force features on users.

- They very much wanted to be able to provide an image-link for each group in the gallery, a different image for each group (a brand logo). That would be a very desirable feature and, I hope, not too difficult to implement.

The above two points were important enough to them that they manually created a separate page containing all the brand logos as image links to their respective gallery group, thereby bypassing the gallery's main page.

I hope this adds some valuable real-world client feedback to your exciting project.

Thanks,

Mick Ruthven
