Is there a way to change the frames?

Is there a way to change the look and feel of the album and pictures.  The current spiral bound album and the frames around the pictures may not meet everyone's expectation...  For example, I have someone who wants to use the Gallery to display products for sale and the frame does not appeal to them...  I think if there was just a simple frame around the album and pics, that would help be more business like.

Re: Is there a way to change the frames?

This is controlled by a theme (see DesktopModules\Gallery\Themes) . Default there are three themes: DNNGray, DNNSilver and DotNetNuke. You can copy an existing theme to a new subfolder and edit the images. For example the picture is surrounded  by picture*.gif.

You can choose the theme on the gallery Configuration page. This dialog lists all the thems it finds in the DesktopModules\Gallery\Themes folder.

The forum listing shows this post has a reply, but it is not in the Post...  Can you re-post?

Re: Is there a way to change the frames?

I am still struggling a little with changing the frames, etc.  I took a conservative approach and simply went into the DesktopModules\Gallery\Themes directory and did a copy/paste of the DNNSilver directory.  I even left the name "Copy of DNNSilver"  I then went into the Configuration and the new "Copy of DNNSilver" theme was in the drop down.  When I selected it, I expected the look to stay the same since the theme directories were exact duplicates.  That was not the case...  All the frames changed signficantly and no longer seemed to relate to the gif files.  Are there other steps involved when creating a new theme?
