I decided to create a new install of DNN 4.8 instead of upgrading my site from 3.x.   I wanted to install the gallery module but I received this error:

Is it possible to install th 3.0.12 version on the latest DNN version? If not, which version do I need to go back to (DNN) to get the gallery working?  Our site is a community site and the pictures are very important for us.

Les, Gallery 3.0.12 is a Beta version and it you should not use it in production. The previous version was buggy as well and would only work in DNN3 versions. Please stay tuned for an updated version coming this quarter.
