Gallery Module

I installed the Gallery Module and got error message and look in the forum. I found out that the gallery module does not work with 4.08 version. Is there any other gallery module that I can use order than the 3X?

Re: Gallery Module

You can try to disable the FriendlyURLs in the Host settings.  Otherwise you can look on the Marktplace, or search in the Announcement forum.  We hope we can release the Gallery 4.x module in the first quarter 2008.

Re: Gallery Module

Was this issue with the Friendly URL's as obvious as it appears to get missed when the 4.80 was tested on the test system with the gallery core module? Because of this break, we are forced to hold off the upgrade from 4.55 on many of our clients sites due to the break and need to keep the friendly URL's

Well, one good thing, Q108 is already almost a 1/3rd done and i am sure this is a critical issue. (I hope it is creeping up the list and the answer is not "Go get a 3rd party")

Thank you for the update on options, The comments on this has been quiet and makes it seem like no sites use the Gallery Module.

Thank you,

Dean

Re: Gallery Module

Friendly URLs cause path error in the beta v3.x Gallery Module (which throw exception)...

It is also posted at top of forum that Gallery v3.x is BETA (means unstable) and can cause problems - advised you wait for v4.x release - Even if you resolve path error, other exception can be thrown (I know, I'm running it on my site -- it runs 99% of time, but occaisional exception when members browse galleries).  If you apply fix below, gallery tend to function better, but NOT GUARANTEED.
