Modules and skins 

from where on the dnn site may i download and install nodules and skins to a dnn project running on my laptop?

All Sins that are availible are in the DNN install package.  Other Skins you can get from third parity oder making by self.  Dnn Modules you can get from the download page.  Some other third parity Modules are availible like from the Marktplace and other sides.

Both can be installed on your localy instance over the Host / Moduledefinations or Host / Skins tab.  It is simple to upload the zip file.
