The resource cannot be found.

hi, i am using the dnn 4.8 on w3k server with sp2 /w sql 2005 express, i tried the gallery that comes with the installation, also tried to uninstall and reinstall it again, but this error is still happening.

after adding the gallery module to a page, clicking on any edit, add file, add album, maintainence links from the menu would give me a 404 error.   if i manually remove the space (from: path/ /currentstrip) on the address bar, it will just display the gallery module again.

i know this is not a final release, but is it a known beta issue or i missed something?  please advice.  thank you very much!

Re: The resource cannot be found.

I have the same problem:

Requested URL: /dnn/Testing/DMx/tabid/623/ctl/AlbumEdit/mid/993/path/ /currentstrip/1/action/addfile/language/en-US/Default.aspx

URL in the address tab:dnn/Testing/DMx/tabid/623/ctl/AlbumEdit/mid/993/path/%20/currentstrip/1/action/addfile/language/en-US/Default.aspx

so somehow when you try to add a file or album it inserts a /%20/.

I beleive this has to do with friendlyURLs.  Anybody knows why?

thanks

Re: The resource cannot be found.

I have done a workaround with Stefan Cullman and and we found that tehre is not a check to empty vaules.  We still working on it and will resolve it in the upcomming new release.

The only solution for it before the next version is released is to disable the FriendlyURLs in the Host Settings.

You absolutely have to love the fact that the Events Module ONLY works with Friendly URLs and the Gallery Module ONLY works without it.

Great.
