Blog Title cause Module to Widen

Hi I noticed that a long Blog title will push the Width of the blog module out. It affects the module width in two ways.

1. In the title (top of the module). If the title is too long, and it does not Wrap and hence cause the module to expand horizontally.

2. In the comments (bottom of module. Since the latest version, the prepopulated title appears in the the comments section under the title field.  The longer the title, the longer the text field. http://www.profitimo.com/Articles/tabid/53/EntryID/881/Default.aspx

Is there away to fix these two problems?

Re: Blog Title cause Module to Widen

Hi Justin,

I tested it both in IE and FF using Blog module v03.04.00 on DNN 04.08.02. The entry title wraps correctly in both the two browsers even if it is very long. The prepopulated textbox for comment's title works correctly in FF, but causes the module to stretch in IE. So here's the workaround: locate the file called ViewEntry.ascx, you'll find a textbox control named txtCommetTitle inside. Change its width attribute from 100% to whatever you need in pixels, like 300px. This will cause the textbox to have a fixed width both in IE and FF. If you need further help, please let us know.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Brandon,

no, I'm sorry, I didn't check if it has been already added or if it has to be logged. I will now.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
