a few issues with the blog module

Ive got several child blogs but....

  1. the dropdown list in the blogs search module only shows the parent blog
  2. You can't place a new blog module an another page and fiter the blog based on a child portal (from the moduals settings not form the views point of view).

I've looked at blog display but it dosnt seem to be able to filter the results based on the child blog. And I'm not that keen on going down the personal blog method.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this module more usable?

Re: a few issues with the blog module

This is some great feedback.  We're looking at lots of new features / capabilities for version 4 of the Blog module.  I can't promise that any of these concerns will be addressed in version 4, but this is exactly the sort of feedback we need.
