Hi Shrini,

please note, that blog 3.4.0 is still a DNN 3 module, which requires a DNN 3.3.7 installation, VS 2003 and ASP.Net 1.1 to be conpiled or you can use module migration wizard from the main download page to upgrade the module to DNN 4, anything else is not recommended.

Hi Sebastian,

 

Thanks for the hints! I am able to modify the blog module and see the changes reflected. I used:

VS 2005

DNN 3.4.0

ASP.NET 2.0

I upgraded the project without any issues and as mentioned earlier has to only fix DotNetNuke.dll reference in the blog project. Thanks a lot. I know now correct way to add modules from source to DNN and start development of the same.
