Re: RSS feed for all recent entries?

Hi Mike,

I looked this up in the source code and found that this string ('Most recent blog entries') is set in the following resource file:  App_LocalResources\ViewBlog.ascx.resx.

I checked and the key for this string (msgMostRecentEntries) is only referenced from the blog feed control.  This means you can safely change the entry in the resource file and it will currently only affect the string you've noted in the blog feed.

HTH,

Don

Re: RSS feed for all recent entries?

Thanks, Don. We had similar ideas.I had found the string is the resx, but hadn't had a chance to look in any source code. Thanks much for checking this for me. I should be set.

Re: RSS feed for all recent entries?

Just wanted to close to confirm that this approach worked and has gotten me as close as I can expect. To summarize: I used an RSS URL from one of the individual blog feeds and then changed the feed number to zero to represent the "most recent posts" feed. I then altered the string in App_LocalResources\ViewBlog.ascx.resx to say "The Panatrack Blog". This seems to have the effect we needed. Results can be viewed here: http://www.panatrack.com/Blog.aspx

Re: RSS feed for all recent entries?

FYI, the aggregated feed seems to be broken in 3.05.00. I'm getting the following:
