Blog post not in what's new 

I have blog page and what's new module home page. but blog entries are not visible in what's new list. how to config blog for that?

Hi Karthik,

the cause maybe that your blog has not been set as "public". The entries in a blog set as "not public" are visible to the blog's owner only. To check if this is your case, login as the blog owner and go to Blog Settings, make sure that the option Make this blog public is checked, and the entries listed in this blog will be listed in the "What's new" control. You might just need to be patient.  Blog and What's New  are working on my site.  It seems to take the "What's new" module a while to catch up with new content. 

If you post a blog entry and then go straight to look at what's new it usually is not there.  I don't know where the delay is - it's not enough to bother me on my site.

Thanks Guys its working now. Actually Blog was public. But in module options enable search was not selected. I think that was the problem. I enabled it. Now its comming in What's new list.
