Hi Keith,

The next version of the blog module does not include a BB Code editor for comments, however, we've removed the ability to inject script into the content.  Perhaps since the core issue that necessitated the use of the BB Code editor has been resolved you can get permission to use the blog module.  I'm not sure right now about the timeframe for the release of the next version.  It's in the release tracker right now.
