Maximum characters in blog, SQL coding help request

I have a blog entry that is out of order. I am able to modify the db using SQL Server Management Studio Express to manually change the dates. But one entry returns an error that binary information will be truncated when I try to change it and it will not accept the change. What could the explanation be? The date has the same character count as all the others, of course. But the blog entry is longer than most.

Is there a maximum character count setting somewhere I can adjust? Or maybe someone is willing to write the SQL script I would need to attempt to change it through the Host SQL area, as that is beyond my skill set. Any suggestions welcome... even a 3rd party blog recommendation.

Thanks
