Hide "Posted by SuperUser Account"

By default each blog item displays a Title then below that right justified it says something like this:

By SuperUser Account On Wednesday, March 12, 2008 11:08 PM

I want it to only show this:

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 11:08 PM

Where do I edit that out and how. When I tried to set to hidden it would not.

Thank you very much,

Jeremy Palmer

Re: Hide "Posted by SuperUser Account"

Hi Jeremy,

This is a change you'll have to make in the ascx files.  Specifically, take a look at ViewBlog.ascx at about line 36.  You can change

<asp:label id="lblUserName" runat="server" visible="false"></asp:label>

to

<

div style="display:none;"><asp:label id="lblUserName" runat="server" visible="false"></asp:label></div>

Of course, realize that any upgrades will require that you make this same change again.

HTH,

Don
