Read more not clickable

I have installed the blog and tried to inspect every detail. But generated  "Read More >>"  still not clickable and I have to click title to get all the detail content. Where did I do wrong?

Thanks

Hy

Re: Read more not clickable

Hi Hy

One of the possibilities is that there is a truncation of the text in the summary of your blog entry.  The way the blog is currently written, the blog summary is cut off after a certain number of characters.  If this happens to be in the middle of a tag, it can cause problems with the HTML.  The way I work around this is to either explicitly enter a summary that I know is shorter than the cut-off or log in as an admin and change the Limit Blog Summary To field in the Module Options page to something really large like 1024000.

If this doesn't help to solve the problem, is the site publicly available so we can view the test entry?

Thanks,

Don

Re: Read more not clickable

You can also enter "0" in the Limit Blog Summary field -- that would be mean "unlimited".

You can also choose to make Description Mandatory. If that option is selected, no truncation of text will ever happen, and therefore not producing that undesired effect.

I hope this extra bit of information helps!

Re: Read more not clickable

Now, I enter some summary text, and it works. Before I did not entered any text in summary field, so it did not work. Thanks every one!
