Changing Style of Blog Titles

Hi,

I give up - how do I change the formatting of each Blog Title/Posting?

I have gone through the Module.css file and nothing seems to change it.

Thanks

Liz

Re: Changing Style of Blog Titles

The class you're looking for is h2.blog_title.

If it isn't changing for you, I'd suspect either:

1. A caching issue

2. The style you're changing is being overridden by yet another style (for example, the links style could override this style, since the titles are also hyperlinks)

Re: Changing Style of Blog Titles

Hi Liz,

I'm not sure I understood well what part are you trying to style, but the entry title can be styled through the h2.blog_title style. To easily manage styles on a per Portal basis, I suggest you to add modified styles to your portal stylesheet through Admin > Site Settings > Stylesheet Editor. Don't forget to hit Save Style Sheet and Update once you're finished. This will allow you to upgrade/reinstall the module without having to modify once again the module.css stylesheet. On the other hand this will also allow you to style the blog module to suit different skins in different portals.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Re: Changing Style of Blog Titles

That was where I thought I had to change it but it had absolutly no impact

I don't think it is a caching issue, as I successfully managed to change other parts, but as it is a link then yes I would think it is being overwritten by the links style.

However, seeing Dario's reply, if i can change it in the site css that would make life a lot easier...just gotta figure out how to change the link style but I am pretty sure I have done that sometime before.

Will give it a bash.

Thanks

Liz

Re: Changing Style of Blog Titles

I didn't realise I could do that. I saw a post about where the css file was and thought I had to edit it directly. Thanks for the tip - it will be a) easier to update and b) a better way to update it.

Many thanks

Liz
