Re: I need TAGS !!!! please!!!! if you need them drop the line here!

This is great Don and an excellent point. This addresses the problem/need but also provides more traffic generation.

BTW - if I were a betting man, I might think that Rip's blog is running some beta code of the forthcoming Blog module, yeah? ;-)

You guys rock. Keep up the great work - it's much appreciated.

Cheers,

- JBro

Re: I need TAGS !!!! please!!!! if you need them drop the line here!

It would be nice if there was a general content_tags table in DotNetNuke. A lot of modules could benefit from this - for instance, I see many gallery modules that have tagging capability. What if images, forum posts and blog posts could all be tagged, with the tags displayed in the same tag cloud?

Its something I wanted to implement myself on some custom modules, but ideally I want all modules to share the same tags in the database.

Re: I need TAGS !!!! please!!!! if you need them drop the line here!

I have the logic on my sql for include tags in blog module,  but I can't make dnn use the source code instead of the methods in the DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.dll

does any 1 know how to do it?

Re: I need TAGS !!!! please!!!! if you need them drop the line here!

You'll need to either recompile the module to get a new DLL, or you need to modify the project to run as part of a website project, instead of a WAP web application project.

<%@ Control Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Codebehind="EditEntry.ascx.vb" Inherits="DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.EditEntry" %>

and if it's not... some1 knows what can it be?
