I would like to ask the core team about the specifications of the servers hosting this website, I need the info in order to be able to estimate the hardware requirments since the dotnetnuke website has more than 287000 registered users, and there are big amounts of users connected most of the times (as I can see from the users online module on the site) and also the big activity of the forums hosted here.

Thanks in advance,

I don't have the machine details, but I can tell you that we use maximumASP for our hosting. We started out with their VPS shared hosting package, but as we grew it began to feel the strain a little. We moved to a dedicated server setup a while back heres the movement announcement post - we were supporting 2million pageviews/month on VPS along with other services), I don't know which of the dedicated server plans we're on - if i see one of our infrastructure guys online I'll ping them and ask.

BTW, this and this will give you a good idea of what sort of capacity we're capable of with a (relatively) inexpensive setup.
