Repository for Non-Core Module Listings
Modified By Joe Brinkman on 10/24/2007 2:05:52 PM)

Today, the Non-Core Modules (Version 3,4) page underwent some changes as we updated the module handling the listings on that page.  We now invite all module developers to review these changes, and to follow the guidelines below to ensure that their module listings get updated in a timely manner.  Thank-you!

Updating the Non-Core Modules (Version 3,4) Page

Purpose

To transfer all listings from the current "Non-Core Modules, Version 3.x & 4.x" module (page here) to a new "Module Repository."  Whereas the old directory was powered by the Santry RDM module, the new version will utilize the latest version of the DotNetNuke Repository module (version 3.01.09, announced 06/04/06 by Project lead Steve Fabian.)

This migration to the Repository will allow us the benefit of using a module which is being actively upgraded and enhanced by Steve and his team.  As well, the switch to the Repository module will allow module developers the ability to upload their own listings, and eliminate the issues encountered in the past with "anonymous" user ratings and comments.
