No possibility to move item's view order...

Hello,

I installed the module HELP (with few problems, concerning the sp procedure I had to create by hand).
Check: Help module will not install
Then, I encountered the first problem in assigning category to tutorial (problem I solved, check: Can't add category to new tutorial)

Now, I have another problem: no possibility to move a category up or down... The arrows button which should appear are not present !!! (I know that they are some buttons here, because when I create the first category, the 2 arrows up and down were present...). As soon as I create my first category, the arrows disappear... Is it linked to DNN 4.3.7 ? Help module is not compatible with DNN 4.3.7 ??
For your information, I have deleted the help module and re-installed it from scratch. Same behavior... :-(

HELP !!!

Re: No possibility to move item's view order...
Have you already read and applied the steps explained in the thread Cannot Reorder Categories?  It is still on the first page of threads in this forum.

Re: No possibility to move item's view order...

No sorry... I did not see this thread (maybe you should stick it at the top of the forum, such thread are very important to newbies)!!

I have done what is recommended, the script executes correctly and the arrow button is showing (I can manage my category).
But then, another problem show up (which was not present before running this script). In the category module, I had nothing before running the script. Now, after running it, I have the following error message:

Error: Help is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid. ---> System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid. ---> System.formatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.DoubleType.Parse(String Value, NumberformatInfo Numberformat) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.IntegerType.FromString(String Value) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.IntegerType.FromString(String Value) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.Repository.OnModuleCommunication(Object s, ModuleCommunicationEventArgs e) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.Communications.ModuleCommunicationEventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, ModuleCommunicationEventArgs e) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Help.NavPane.SelectNode() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Help.NavPane.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I add a new tutorial (because there was none created before - just categories created), and I do not have the error anymore.
Unfortunately, as soon as I jump to another page and come back to the page where I have my HELP module, I still have the error message, and the tutorial module is showing, but without my new tutorial added. Then, I had a new tutorial, and two are showing. Once again, if I switch to another page, everything disappear...

I deleted the 2 help modules, and started over on a new page. Now it seems to be ok... Is it normal and should I continue working normally, or is it better to re-install it from scratch ??? (uninstall + re-install ?)

Re: No possibility to move item's view order...

Each new HELP module I add, I have this error...

Error: Test HELP is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Help.NavPane.SelectNode() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Help.NavPane.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Just to be sure, I have runned this sql:

ALTER PROCEDURE {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}Help_ListCategoryActiveByParent]
@ModuleID int,
@ParentID int

AS
SELECT   [CategoryID],
   [CategoryGUID],
   [Name],
   [Description],
   [Image],
   [KeyWords],
   [ModuleID],
   [Order],
   [Level],
   [Parent],
   [Visible],
   [Deleted]

FROM   {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Help_Category

WHERE  [Parent] = @ModuleID AND [ModuleID] = @ParentID
AND   [Deleted] <> 1
AND   [Visible] <> 0

ORDER BY [Level] ASC,
   [Parent] ASC,
   [Order] ASC

GO

Is it correct ???
