"YouthRoots is a faith community site where students and leaders can interact. It enables youth leaders to extend the reach of their programs to build stronger faith connections with their students.

We evaluated many open source and proprietary content management systems before making the decision to develop YouthRoots on top of DotNetNuke. DNN won out over the other systems because of stability, a robustness in both product and community and a flexible open license that let us achieve our business objectives without exposing potentially sensitive, proprietary technologies we had spent a lot of time and money developing.

We found the code base functionally well thought out and built on a proven, homogeneous Microsoft platform that gave us clear scalability options. Out of the box, DNN provided the functionality we needed for YouthRoots. The provider models gave us the flexibility we needed to customize the system to the specific needs of YouthRoots without touching the core code. The built-in authentication, roles, skins and navigation saved us a lot of time over starting from scratch as well.

In comparison to many other systems, the DNN community was well established and it was relatively easy for us to find programming resources that were well versed in the both DNN and the underlying technologies modules help shave many months off our time-to-market. Bear Mountain is a resort, golf club and real estate development in Victoria BC. The design challenge was to have a responsive site to accommodate the blindingly fast changes occurring on the property. It had to communicate to three types of visitors: resort guests, home buyers, and golfers. DNN powers all site sections, and features customized forms to integrate with existing CRM systems. Q107.com is the website of the famous Q107 Classic Rock Radio Station located in Toronto, Canada. It has been revamped recently based on DNN 4.x with more than 20 custom modules.
