The DotNetNuke® Core Team

The DotNetNuke® Core Team is organized in the following three roles.  See individual member profiles below.

Trustee Trustee
Trustees have distinguished themselves through exceptional contribution and participation and have the additional responsibility of championing key programs for the project.  They demonstrate a combination of skills which include professionalism and objectivity with respect to the project and its programs.

stevefabian.jpg Steve Fabian (MVP), (Gooddogs.com), has been designing and developing software solutions for 19 years. In addition to programming in over 1 dozen different languages, Steve is proficient in graphics and web design and for the past few years has focused on user interface design, .net development, both client and browser based, and most recently, DotNetNuke. Gooddogs.com provides both free and custom skins for the DotNetNuke community as well as the free Gooddogs Repository Module for DotNetNuke. Steve lives in New Jersey with his wife and his 5 dogs, Kahlua, Amaretto, Sambucca, Daiquiri and Whiskey. In his extremely limited free time, Steve and his wife do volunteer work for BARKS, an animal rescue shelter in Byram, New Jersey.

Jon Henning (MCSD, MVP) is senior consultant with Solution Partners Inc., http://www.solpart.com/, a Chicago based consulting company specializing in Microsoft technologies. He is an MCSD who has been working with Visual Studio .NET since the PDC release. While he has written several articles dealing with all aspects of programming, his current love has been found in the development rich client-side functionality. Most notably is the Solution Partners ASP.NET Hierarchical Menu which is the menu that is used within DotNetNuke. While the menu itself is not specific to DotNetNuke, he has also made available a Menu Module PA, along with some custom skins showing off its many features (http://www.solpart.com/Default.aspx?tabid=72 ). VicencMasanas.jpg

Vicenç Masanas (MVP) is the principal at Disgrafic (www.disgrafic.com), a software consultancy company based in Banyoles - Spain, specializing in Web development and design on the DotNetNuke platform. Vicenç has been a member of the DotNetNuke Core Team since 2003 where he serves as a core developer. He is also responsible for the Localization and Globalization efforts for the DotNetNuke platform. Vicenç is also the publisher of the dnnJungle Web site (dnnjungle.vmasanas.net) where he provides community support for DotNetNuke, free modules, developer tools, and highly-acclaimed templates for DotNetNuke development since DotNetNuke version 2.x.

Stefan Cullmann is the head of the IT department of a technical association, based in Berlin, Germany. He is a graduate engineer for medical physics with a fable for software development. Stefan wrote his first lines of Basic code on a Sinclair ZX81 in 1981.

DotNetNuke has turned into his favorite tool for running public websites over the last years. As requirements forced him to enhance the platform on his own, Stefan took the chance to join a project team. Today Stefan is engaged within the IFrame, Xml and UserDefinedTable projects.

Stefan loves to use XML and XSL everywhere where possible. He prefers code generation instead of rewriting and he often goes hunting bugs with passion.

Brandon Haynes

Brandon Haynes (brandonhaynes.org) is a member of the DotNetNuke core team, and serves primarily by providing security-related guidance. He is the chief executive officer at Everysport.net Inc., which delivers enterprise resource planning, web-presence, e-commerce, and integration-related functionality to recreational facilities.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – consistently ranked among the top-five computer-science programs worldwide – Brandon has a long history of intellectual curiosity and accomplishment. With more than twenty years of experience in software development, Brandon’s professional interests are currently focused on the nexus between intellectual property law, technology, and business. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Harvard University.

Peter Donker

Peter Donker completed his PhD in 1999 entitled “SCAFFOLD: Structuring Communication in the Architectural Forum For Online Design” which looked into communication during the design process and how this could be improved using IT. After Delft he left for Enschede where he worked for 3 years at the Telematica Instituut to continue research in ICT and human collaboration. Specifically, one of his focal areas was knowledge management. In 2002 he left for Switzerland to (marry his Swiss girlfriend and) start his own company Bring2mind which specializes in Document Management on the DNN framework.
