User Experience Team

The broad mission of the User Experience Team is to enhance the usability, aesthetic and general user experience of DotNetNuke and Community Resources.

It is a challenging but also very noble and highly impactful mission! One of the really challenging aspects of User Experience is that it includes just about everything.  If people interact with it... it has a User Experience component.  So this team deals with the very real issues of prioritization and scope as well as the difficult balance between technical implementation and creative freedom.

The team coordinates the annual Skinning Contest; gives direction to community members in our forums; helps out Extension Forge project teams with ad hoc UX reviews and styling help; reviews and designs UX for some community tools on www.dotnetnuke.com (eg. Forums, User Groups, etc); acts as an advisory committee to core standards and changes; and much more.

Do you have some creative ability?  Would you be willing to work with the team to improve User Experience for community tools or forge projects?  Volunteer with the User Experience team today!
