DotNetNuke Beta Testing Program

One of the greatest strengths of DotNetNuke is the participation of its large community of users. To augment our own quality assurance efforts, we make our latest efforts broadly available for public beta testing and issue reporting. In addition to making the software available, we also provide a variety of testbeds for upgrade scenarios to help get you started.

Beta Test Discussion Forum

Please note: Do not apply beta test software to production websites. Always ensure you backup files and data before attempting any upgrade. You will not be able to upgrade automatically from one beta build to another, or from beta builds to the final release. Beta testing software is for testing purposes only.

Beta Testing Change Log

During the beta testing period, we'll report bug resolution by the public build in which they were resolved on the Beta Test Change Log page. If you don't see an issue listed, then it has not been designated as being fixed in a specific build. All bugs shown is a specific build will appear in the full roadmap for DotNetNuke 5.2.0.

Sample Sites for Testing

The following sample sites are provided as "testbeds" of data to help jumpstart your testing efforts. Each testbed contains a complete DotNetNuke installation of the specified version, a SQL Express database file, and a readme file which explains the scope of the testbed and instructions for use.

Because the testbeds are from previous versions of DotNetNuke, they should be used with the UPGRADE package. You may wish to select a particular testbed and enhance it to best meet your scenario.
