Whilst the images module currently does what it is supposed to do, that is display an image, the plan is a lot bigger. Bigger I mean by scaling the module up to a media module.
The module will support all kinds of media, for instance; Flash, QuickTime, RealPlayer, Windows Media, various Audio formats, etc., and not forgetting Images.
I plan to build this as a media web control, adding it to the DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls namespace with IntelliSense support. The module itself will utilise this control to bring an abundance of life to any site.
The Images subproject does not sound that boring now, does it!
