Snowcovered has done a tremendous job building a market for DotNetNuke modules and skins which has empowered DotNetNuke software ISVs and helped grow the DotNetNuke ecosystem. DotNetNuke Corp. has been the steward for the DotNetNuke open source project and helped drive the growth of the platform and ecosystem. Bringing the two companies together will continue the growth of the DotNetNuke ecosystem by creating closer ties between the platform and the large, rich library of third party modules and skins.
We will operate Snowcovered in the same positive, beneficial manner the DotNetNuke community has come to expect. Brice Snow, founder of Snowcovered, will continue as a full-time participant in the business as we merge the two organizations. The DotNetNuke commercial ecosystem will benefit from a closer integration of the DotNetNuke platform with the commercial marketplace where users can purchase the modules and skins they need for success.

What will happen to the DotNetNuke Marketplace?
The DotNetNuke Marketplace will continue unchanged through September. We will no longer accept new orders through the DotNetNuke Marketplace effective September 30, 2009. We will continue to operate the Marketplace after September 30 to allow existing customers to download their purchases until December 31, 2009.
When will I receive my final DotNetNuke Marketplace payment?
Final Marketplace payments will be completed by October 31, 2009.
Will my listings be migrated from the DotNetNuke Marketplace to Snowcovered?
No. We will not migrate DotNetNuke Marketplace listings to Snowcovered. If you do not already list your products on Snowcovered and wish to do so, you must establish a vendor account and post your products on Snowcovered.
Will the Snowcovered fees change?
No. The fees charged to vendors on Snowcovered will not change.
Will the Snowcovered payment policies change?
No. The Snowcovered payment policies will not change.
Will the Snowcovered Referral Program change?
No. The Snowcovered Referral Program will not change. If you have already established a Referral Program account on Snowcovered, no action is necessary to continue to receive referral payments.
Will this increase the promotional opportunities for my skins and modules?
Yes. Links from DotNetNuke.com to Snowcovered will drive additional traffic to the marketplace. In addition, the Snowcovered and DotNetNuke Marketplace email lists will be combined, resulting in significantly increased market reach.

Can I still purchase items on the DotNetNuke Marketplace?
Yes. You may continue to purchase items on the DotNetNuke Marketplace until September 30, 2009.
Can I still download my old purchases from the DotNetNuke Marketplace?
Yes. You will be able to download your current and past purchases on the DotNetNuke Marketplace until December 31, 2009. After that time, you may contact us at marketplace.admin@dotnetnuke.com for assistance contacting the appropriate vendor for your purchase downloads.
Will the prices on Snowcovered stay the same?
Prices on Snowcovered and the DotNetNuke Marketplace are set by the third party vendors who list their products for sale. The prices are set at the discretion of the vendors.
Will my DotNetNuke Marketplace account be transferred to Snowcovered?
No. We will not transfer DotNetNuke Marketplace account information to Snowcovered. You will need to have an existing account or create a new account on Snowcovered to purchase extensions.
Will I be able to find all of my favorite DotNetNuke Marketplace modules and skins on Snowcovered?
Vendors are free to list their modules and skins on the DotNetNuke Marketplace and/or on Snowcovered. Most extensions on the DotNetNuke Marketplace are also available on Snowcovered. However, the module and skin vendors ultimately decide whether to list their products. If you do not see your favorite modules or skins, contact the vendor and ask them to list their products on Snowcovered!
