Navin is a senior business executive with extensive marketing, strategy, and operational experience in high-technology enterprises in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining DNN Corp., Navin served as President and CEO of CIGNEX, an open source ECM company, and was the founder, president, and CEO of Xisource, a San Francisco-based enterprise software company with offices in London and Mumbai. Before Xisource, he was one of the founding employees of Internet Securities Inc., where he set up the company’s operations in India, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, and was the managing director for Asia at the time of the company's $60 million merger with Euromoney (LSE Symbol: ERM). Navin also has extensive experience as a board member/advisor of pre-IPO companies and holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.

Shaun Walker (MVP, ASPInsider) is Co-Founder and CTO of DotNetNuke Corporation. Shaun has 18 years professional experience in architecting and implementing large scale software solutions for private and public organizations. Shaun is the original creator of DotNetNuke, a Web Content Management System for ASP.NET which has spawned the largest and most successful Open Source community project native to the Microsoft platform. Based on his significant community contributions he has been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) since 2004 and an ASPInsider since 2005. He is a frequent speaker at User Groups and Conferences and is a contributing author to a number of books, including the Professional DotNetNuke 5 title from WROX Press. He also served as a founding Director for the Codeplex Foundation, a non-profit open source foundation created by Microsoft in 2009.

Vivek is a Partner at August Capital, and he invests broadly in IT infrastructure and areas of interest include data center technologies, systems management, security, storage, and cloud computing systems and software. Prior to joining August Capital, Vivek co-founded Cobalt Networks in 1996. As CTO & VP of Product Development, Vivek built the first successful server appliance and grew Cobalt into a worldwide leader in the category, culminating in a successful IPO and acquisition by Sun Microsystems for $2B. At Sun, Vivek served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Cobalt Business Unit and a member of Sun’s Technical Architecture Counsel. Vivek received a BS in Electronics from Punjab University, India, and an MS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.

Tim is a Managing Director at Sierra Ventures, responsible for the Firm’s consumer, datacenter infrastructure software, and open source investments. He has led the Firm’s investments in and serves on the boards of Approva, CodeGreen Networks, Everest Software, Greenplum, MakeMyTrip.com (in India), NebuAd, Sourcefire (FIRE: NASD) and CarWale. A serial entrepreneur, Tim built two infrastructure software companies before joining Sierra in 2001. He headed Sales and Marketing functions at Scopus Technology (SCOP: NASD), which went public in 1995, and was a leader in the CRM space. After that, Tim founded and was CEO of Octane Software, a leading provider of e-commerce infrastructure, which he sold to Epiphany (NASDAQ: EPNY) in 2000 for $3.2B. Tim holds a BSEE from Punjab Engineering College in India and a MS in IEOR and Robotics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He began his career at LSI Logic.
Larry is an angel investor and advisor to early stage technology companies and is the CEO of SugarCRM. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Appcelerator, Compiere, DeviceVM, DotNetNuke Corp., Fonality, Hyperic, Medsphere, Pentaho and SugarCRM. One of the group who coined the term "Open Source", he has written and spoken extensively on Open Source worldwide. Worth Magazine named him to their list of the Top 50 CEOs in 2000. From 2002 to 2004 he was a Venture Partner at Azure Capital Partners. In 1993 he founded VA Linux (now SourceForge, NASDAQ:LNUX) serving as CEO until August 2002. While CEO he launched SourceForge.net and led the company through an IPO in December 1999. Larry holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Chris Cooper joined Pelion Venture Partners in 2007 and has over seventeen years of operational experience in the software industry and has held key positions in sales management, field marketing, business development, and engineering. Most recently he was Director of Partner Engineering and Developer Services at Novell, Inc. In that role he was responsible for certifying Novell's large network of partners and working with them to support their technical integration with Novell's product lines. Mr. Cooper also served as General Manager of Novell's Strategic Alliances, in which role he was responsible for the company's relationships with global business partners such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems, EMC, and Cisco Systems.Mr. Cooper served as both a business and technical adviser for Novell Ventures and managed relationships between the fund's portfolio companies and industry leaders. Mr. Cooper has been a key member of the Advisory Board for Novell's Open Source Technology Center (OSTC). In this role he has evaluated start-ups in the open source space-assessing and communicating each company's business model, value proposition, and unique technology offering. Novell asked Mr. Cooper to remain involved with the company after he left to join UV Partners, so he continues to serve on Novell's OSTC Advisory Board. Prior to joining Novell, Mr. Cooper served as East Coast Regional Sales Director for the WordPerfect Corporation. He studied at the University of Utah and the University of Phoenix.
