About the Position:
DotNetNuke Corporation seeks an exceptionally talented Technical Support Representative to join some of the industry's brightest minds in supporting an advanced open source web content management software solution for a diverse international client base.
Our customer base is growing significantly, requiring us to continue to invest in our customer support team. Most importantly, we need a Technical Support Representative who is well versed in how small enterprise software companies support customers and make the leap to the next level. Support consists of both web-based and telephone support for external/remote customer installations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Email and phone Support for existing customers

Provide upgrade/installation assistance to customers via remote session

Assist customers with product questions and installation issues

Work toward resolution using the tools available, and or using the assistance of other members of the department, the development team, and outside resources as required

Forward customer suggestions and bugs to the Development/Product Department

Create test environments to re-create bugs and errors as reported by customers

Extensively research and document customer technical issues

Logs all calls into the system with clear information as to the problem and the resolution

Create knowledge base articles as problem are encountered

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines and perform under pressure
Qualifications:
- Education: Technical Diploma/Degree
- Technical skills: Knowledge of IIS, SQL Server database, Windows Server, CSS, ASP.Net, Software Development Tools and Methodologies
- Some Development experience in VB, C# a definite asset
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills as well as previous experience in a customer support environment are essential to this position
- Demonstrates a positive, respectful and service-oriented approach to interactions with others and enjoys working as part of a team
- Possess strong research, analysis, and problem solving skills in an IT environment
- Ability to work independently, with a minimum of supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preference will be given to those candidates having experience with DotNetNuke; however experience with other web content management systems is a plus as well.
Location:
You will work onsite at our Engineering office in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. No relocation assistance is available.
