This is the homepage for the DotNetNuke Chat Module. The module is "in progress" and while we do have quite a list of features we'd like in it, we're focussing on creating a working basic version first.

Sorry for causing confusion this morning. Because I have been receiving some emails about where to download the chat module, I tried to give a bit better information by editting this old blog post by adding this comment:
edit: as posted here, the module has been taken offline. we're expecting v01.00.00 to be available any day now.

Because something fishy occurred in the release process, Erik and I decided to make the beta for the chat module publicly available on the project downloads page. So, just go there and give it a try BUT:
- be aware this is a beta, it has not undergone all usual testing
- although you are welcome to discuss the module in our project forum, it should beconsidered as "not supported".
We're eagerly awaiting your comments.

All DNN Modules, so the Chat Module too, are installed over the Module Defination page of the System (Host). Upload there the Chat_install.zip file and it installed.

if you are using dnn 4 version all you need to do to install is select install new module under module definitions in the host tab. It will install every thing including the project files in your dot net nuke project.
